Information to include

To help us locate the correct records and respond efficiently, include:

  • Your full name and the email address or telephone number previously used with BrandInk.
  • Your country and, where relevant, state or province of residence.
  • Your company name and relationship with BrandInk, such as website visitor, prospect, client, vendor or applicant.
  • The type of request and a short description of the information or interaction involved.
  • Any relevant approximate date, campaign, enquiry, project or communication channel.

Please do not send government identification, financial records, passwords or other highly sensitive documents by ordinary email. If additional proof is necessary, we will provide an appropriate method.

04

Identity verification

We may need to verify your identity before providing, correcting or deleting personal information. The level of verification will reflect the nature of the request and the sensitivity of the information involved.

We may ask you to confirm information already associated with your interaction with BrandInk. Verification information will be used for request handling and security purposes. If we cannot reasonably verify a request, we may ask for more information or explain why we cannot fulfil it.

05

Authorised agents and representatives

Where applicable law permits, an authorised agent or legal representative may submit a request for you. We may ask the representative for proof of authority and may contact you directly to verify your identity or confirm that you authorised the request.

A parent or legal guardian requesting action concerning a minor's information may also be asked to demonstrate their authority. Do not send sensitive proof documents until BrandInk provides instructions.

06

Sale, sharing and targeted advertising choices

BrandInk does not sell personal information for monetary payment. Our website may use advertising or analytics technologies that disclose limited identifiers or activity data to service providers or advertising platforms. Certain US privacy laws may define some of these disclosures as “sharing,” “targeted advertising” or a “sale,” even when no money is exchanged.

Where those laws apply to BrandInk and to you, email connect@brandink.media with the subject “Privacy Request – Do Not Sell or Share.” You may also use available cookie preference controls. Where legally required, recognised browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control will be treated as a request for the relevant browser or device.

07

Cookie and communication choices

You can use the website's cookie preference controls, when available, to accept, reject or manage non-essential technologies. Browser settings may also allow you to block or remove cookies. These choices may be browser- and device-specific.

You can opt out of promotional email through its unsubscribe link. Necessary service, security, billing or transactional communications may still be sent when appropriate. For more information, review our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

08

Limits and exceptions

Privacy rights are not absolute. Depending on the request and applicable law, we may retain or continue using limited information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Complete a requested service, contract, transaction or support obligation.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, employment, regulatory or other legal requirements.
  • Detect security incidents, prevent fraud or protect users and systems.
  • Exercise or defend legal claims and resolve disputes.
  • Protect another person's rights, privacy or confidential information.
  • Maintain a suppression record needed to respect an opt-out.

If we deny or limit a request, we will provide an explanation where required and permitted.

09

Regional privacy information

India

Where applicable provisions are in force, individuals may have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including access to processing information, correction, completion, updating, erasure, consent withdrawal and grievance redressal, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions.

Canada

Individuals may request access to personal information held about them and challenge its accuracy or completeness. Consent may be withdrawn subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

10

Response, fees and appeal

We will acknowledge and respond to verified requests within the period required by applicable law. If more time is permitted and reasonably necessary, we will inform you. We generally do not charge a fee, but may do so or decline a request where allowed for requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive or not reasonably verifiable.

If you disagree with our decision, reply to the response and ask for reconsideration. Where applicable law provides an appeal or complaint right, our response will include relevant information. You may also contact the appropriate privacy or data-protection regulator in your jurisdiction.
